I need urgent help from all my fellow plant lovers out there!!! i have multiple cacti. i have had this one for at least 2 years maybe 3. i have NEVER had a cacti do this. its my office plant and i honestly have no clue what happened. i havent changed its regiment. if anyone knows how I can save it or at least save part of it I would really really appreciate any help that you can offer thank you so much!!

Looks like it’s feeling good. In winter 2019 I tried to accelerate its growth by putting the plant into the dark hallway (it has no windows and is illuminated with artificial light only when someone is there) and organizing the lighting of the plant with phyto-lamp (red and blue LEDs with special wavelengths of light for different light colours). The lamp was switched on irregularly, watering was irregular as well, and, though lots of new leaves grew fast, lots of leaves faded, too. So the plant moved to the window, where it receives enough attention.

Tjugofem has grown into a big guy 😆 I realised I need to prune it, and I did it (with disinfecting cuts with powdered activated carbon), but too late, I’m afraid - the plant was too high by that time, and newly grown lateral branches continued to grow up, higher and higher. Ok, let it be so yet 🤔

The hybrid Ficus Lyrata Variegata is not an easy find and also not an easy plant to care for compared to the regular FLF but it's such a beauty.
It's leaves look painted with a cream white that frames a forest green leaf with unpredictable patches of olive green intertwined.
